About Emma Meyer

I’m a Bay Area native (and long-time Oakland resident) with more than 15 years of animation and digital production experience. I’ve worked in advertising, tech, and in-house — and while I’m currently enjoying freelancing, I’m also open to “settling down” long-term with the right team.

In a nutshell, I love creating beautiful, purposeful motion design — using animation to breathe life into even the simplest artwork.

At my last few jobs I’ve pretty much been the banner “expert”. And while I’m always happy to hop on a HTML5 banner project, I’m far from a one-trick pony; I also love working in After Effects, and have a passion for all things motion — be it graphics for social media or e-commerce, animated icons and gifs, out-of-home (OOH) videos… you get the idea. Additionally, I’m always game for exploring new facets of Motion Design. Next on my list is UX/UI animation, in fact! Continuous learning is imperative in this line of work — so I'm constantly in the process of expanding my skills and sharpening my tools via advanced courses and training.

Of humble note: folks that have worked with me in the past say I possess strong cross-functional collaboration skills, pay pixel-perfect attention to quality and detail, and am a reliable and committed team member. And for what it’s worth, I’m also somewhat of a cat whisperer. True.

Does it sound like we’d be a good match? Let’s talk!
